Tubantia

The soccer club Tubantia is located in the north of Hengelo at the A1 motorway. The current plans state that some of the fields need to make place for a new residential area, were approximately 210 homes will be built. The area is mainly designated as a residential area, together with space for social activities. In addition to these new properties, there will also be room for four sports fields. One field will remain outside the premises, so that the youth from the neighborhood and the surrounding areas can use it for social sporting activities. This new plan will create an environment, combining living and green, where it is important that it is consistent with the existing buildings in the area. The basic principle is to adapt and strengthen the qualities of the area and enhance the new environment.
